Dragon black clay wicker bound jug oriental, chinese? I have no Idea what this was for...guessing liquor. It is really neat... Jar/bottle itself looks like clay with a black paint over it, some wear to paint. There is the bamboo wicker covering on the outside. The top of the has two dragons chasing around it. The mouth of the bottle seems to have wire around the lip...the mouth does have cracks/breaks in it. It is stamped on the bottom with unclear oriental symbols that I cant find anything on...so unsure of maker. I may not know what this is...but it is quite unique. I think that's what I like about it... 8" tall and not quite 6" diameter We sell vintage, pre-owned, used items. They may not be perfect and may have a little wear from use.
