ABOUT THE REQUIEM : The Extrema Ratio REQUIEM has a “stiletto type” blade. It is a streamlined multi-purpose blade that handles a variety of functions including tactical. Even with the streamlining, the REQUIEM is a strong blade. BLADE: The REQUIEM has a well designed blade with jimping that extends into the handle. This allows you to exert extra pressure and/or have extra control. There is a fuller (blood groove) on each side to further decrease the weight without decreasing its strength. It has a stone washed finish. HANDLE: The REQUIEM 's wolf grey handle is textured and has a rubber-like feel. Gives you a good gripe even with wet/gloved hands. Has a lower guard [with a lanyard hole] to protect your hand when being used. It also has been streamlined to reduce its weight. SHEATH: The REQUIEM has a distinctive, light weight Aspis nylon sheath, This sheath is also streamlined to decrease weight. Has an easily activated sheath lever for a quick knife release. The sheath is also MOLLE compatible.
