The core of this camera cage kit is the Full Camera Cage, which is specifically designed for the BMCC 6K Full Frame. It features a top plate that seamlessly aligns with the 1/4"-20 thread on the top of the camera body. The cage is securely connected to the camera body at three points, ensuring stability and security during shooting. The Full Camera Cage is equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 threads with locating points, cold shoe receivers, an Arri compatible rosette, and a NATO Rail. These features allow for the attachment of a wide range of accessories, including NATO based Side Handles. The cage's right side arm module can be detached to convert the Full Cage into a Half Cage, providing flexibility for lighter builds, such as when using a gimbal. The Bottom Plate of the cage offers several 1/4"-20 mounting points, allowing for quick attachment to various quick release plates. It is also compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the DJI RS3 Pro. When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip, and includes a 15mm Rod Holder for rod-based accessories. Included in the Basic Kit is the Xeno Top Handle, which attaches to the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw with locating pins.
